The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) have bused over 400 party people from the districts to the party headquarters in Accra in bid to effect corrections needed on the nomination paper of presidential nominee, Dr Nduom before deadline time of 5pm.

The Electoral Commission (EC) after the Supreme Court ruling to extend the nomination period from yesterday to 5pm today, wrote a letter to the PPP that it discovered some 86 mistakes on the nomination paper which must be corrected before the commission makes a determination if Dr. Ndoum meets the requirement to be on the ballot.

Party executives including running mate, Bridget Dzogbenuku, Chairman Dr. Nii Allotey Brew-Hammond and other executives are combing through the files to leave no room for error before heading to the Electoral Commission for submission.

The over 400 people in including endorsers are also on standby to be called upon should the need arise showing that the party does not want to be taken unawares by any loopholes.
