Andre Ayew has been named the Le Havre player of the month for February.
The Ghana captain scored a brace, including a stunning acrobatic goal, in a disappointing month for the team that saw them fail to secure a single victory.
Ayew’s form has been a bright spot in an otherwise difficult period for Le Havre, who played five matches without a win, losing four and drawing one.
His three goals were enough to earn him the club’s top scorer honours for the month.
The 34-year-old attacker is currently on loan at Le Havre until the end of the season, and his performances have been crucial to the team’s hopes of avoiding relegation.
