Andre Ayew has suffered any player’s nightmare especially when a new club is involved.
The newly minted West Ham player sustained an injury when the Hammers took on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
The 26-year-old forward limped off the field in the 35th minute after over-stretching in an attempt to counter Eden Hazard. He was replaced by Gokhan Tore.
Ayew’s injury layoff is set to be determined after scans on Tuesday to ascertain the duration of his absence.
