The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming Unity Cup tournament in England, with several key players missing.

Big names, including Victor Osimhen, and Alex Iwobi have not been included in the squad, while defender Felix Agu is set to train with the team but won't feature in the matches.

Their absence has created opportunities for fringe players and home-based stars to make their mark ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming qualifiers.

Premier League midfielders Wilfred Ndidi and Frank Onyeka lead the squad, alongside attacking options Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, and Moses Simon.

New faces like Nathan Tella and Cyriel Dessers are also included, while local talents Amas Obasogie and Junior Nduka get their chance to impress.

The Unity Cup is a four-nation tournament featuring Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.

It will be held at the G-Tech Community Stadium in Brentford from 27–31 May.
