Captain of Asante Kotoko, Amos Frimpong has reiterated that the weather condition in Zambia will not have any negative outcome on his side in their Sunday's encounter against Nkana FC.

Zambian is in the rainy season and it’s been raining heavily for some days now but Frimpong believes his side will not be bothered.

The captain of the side insists they are prepared for any situation they are confronted with in Zambia ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match day three tie against Nkana at the Nkana Stadium.

"The weather condition in Zambia will not affect our game tomorrow because we have played in such weather before and we are well prepared should it rain during the game tomorrow", Amos Frimpong told the media.

A week ago, former Al Hilal coach who was in the helm of affairs for the Sudanese's trip to the Nkana stadium blamed the condition of the pitch after his side's 2-1 defeat to Nkana FC but Frimpong has struck a confident tone amid the weather condition in the Southern African country.

Asante Kotoko held their first training session in Kitwe on Friday, February 22 in Kitwe and will hold their final training session at the match venue this afternoon.

The Reds, like the other three in the group, is on three points after beating Zesco 2-1 in their second group game in Kumasi last weekend and Annan, in an interview with Kwese Sports said he would like the winning run to continue for Asante Kotoko.
