Ghanaian Business mogul, Benard Antwi Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi has made an offer to buy Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.

In a statement sighted by PrimeNews, the business mogul made a bid of $3.1billion to purchase the London-based club.

Chairman Wontumi on Tuesday shown interest to buy Chelsea FC after club owner, Roman Abramovich has put the reigning Champions League winners on sale.

According to Chairman Wontumi, he spends solid money and for that matter, the £3billion price tag is a peanut for him.

In an interview with Wontumi Nationwide Sports, he said he is a businessman and will negotiate with Roman Abramovich to buy the club.

He was emphatic that many Ghanaians support the London-based football club and it encourages him to buy it.

He said Abramovich has paid his dues and it’s time for an African to take over the Chelsea team.

The NPP Chairman hinted that he will sign Real Madrid playmaker, Vinicius Jnr, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and use them to build a formidable team.

He said he will send Romelu Lukaku to Crystal Palace.
