Dan Kwaku Yeboah who is the Spokesperson for the CAF/FIFA liaison team has denied reports in the media that Inter Milan star Kwadwo Asamoah has picked up an injury in Black Stars training in Ethiopia.
Reports in the media suggested that Asamoah had picked up an injury in training ahead of the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers against Kenya and could be a doubt for the game.
"Ghanaians should not panic there's no situation, it's not true Kwadwo Asamoah is injured."
"He only took precaution to sit out some few minutes to end of training to put ice on his knee which was precautionary "
"He's not injured. He is fit and ready to play on Saturday," he told Oyerepa FM.
Ghana will face the Harambee Stars of Kenya on September 8, 2018, in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Nairobi.
