Ghanaian Weightlifter Christian Amoah has swept a total of three medals at the ongoing Africa Weightlifting Junior and Youth Championship in Uganda.
Amoah who clinched the 2015 Weightlifter of the year at the SWAG awards won gold in snatch with a lift of 135kg, bronze in clean and jerk with a lift of 160kg and a silver medal in total with 295kg.
The Championship is a qualification for 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and Amoah has positioned himself for qualification.
The Executives of the Ghana Weightlifting Federation congratulated Christian Amoah for his consistent performance in the sport.
