Milovan Rajevac has said he is keen on aiding Ghana to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Qatar.

According to him, he will be the happiest man on earth if he is able to achieve that feat with the four-time AFCON champions. He made this revelation ahead of the penultimate game against Ethiopia.

“We really hope to qualify for the World Cup. This is our agenda and every person here, everyone in the football association, technical team and the players are all working towards the same thing,” he said.

“If we qualify for the World Cup, I will be the happiest man on earth. Definitely, we will all give our best to make that happen because we cannot predict the future. We are doing everything in our own power to win the next matches. This is our goal and we do our best to make it happen.”

Ghana will be playing their last two group games of the World Cup qualifiers in the coming days as they hope to make it to Qatar next year.

Ghana are currently second in Group G after four games played, taking away nine points from a possible 12 available.

The Black Stars trail South Africa by a point going into the last two games and will need to win both games to stand a chance of making it to the next round of the qualifiers.

The Black Stars play Ethiopia on November 11 at the Orlando Stadium and host South Africa in Cape Coast on November 14.
