Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana was in superb form for Stade Rennes as they ended PSG's unbeaten start in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Rennes who are winless in their last five Ligue 1 games finally brought joy to their fans by picking the maximum points on Sunday.

Kamaldeen assisted one of the two goals the Red and Blacks scored on the day. He whipped in a fine cross which was connected home by Gaetan Laborde, who bagged a brace.

PSG have been on an 8-match winning streak heading into the game but any ideas of maintaining their unbeaten start were cut short at the Roazhon Park, Rennes as the home side beat them 2-0.

A goal on either side of half-time saw Mauricio Pochettino and his charges suffered their first defeat of the season.

PSG thought they have reduced the deficit in the second half through Kylian Mbappe but the goal was ruled off-side following a VAR review.

PSG still top Ligue 1 table with 24 points despite defeat while Rennes have jumped to 7th with 12 points.

Meanwhile, Kamaldeen Sulemana will be travelling to Accra to join his Black Stars teammates ahead of the doubleheader against Zimbabwe.

He has been named in Milovan Rajevac's squad for the doubleheader.

Ghana will host Zimbabwe in a World Cup qualifier on October 9 at the Cape Coast Stadium before travelling to Harare for the return fixture.
