South African giants Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of former King Faisal talisman Kwame Peprah on a three-year contract.

Peprah signed for Pirates last week from King Faisal on a three-year contract after an incredible breakout season in the Ghana Premier League.

Pirates will pay an amount of US$150,000 to Faisal for the services of the player who can play anywhere in attack.

The 20-year-old's dynamic performances saw him rack up 12 goals in 32 league games attracted widespread attention from across the continent. But a swift action by Pirates helped secure the attacker's services amid their current injury crisis.

Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of two players – Olisah Ndah, who joins from newly crowned Nigerian Premier League champions Akwa United and Kwame Peprah from King Faisal Football Club in Ghana," a club statement said.

Peprah took the Ghana Premier League by storm last season, emerging as Faisal’s main man in their battle to survive relegation.

His exploits earned the attention of Ghana’s U23 team officials, who invited him for the friendlies against Japan and South Korea, but the striker was forced to withdraw from the squad
