The much-anticipated demonstration against the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to take place today, February 14, 2024.

The protest is a response to the disappointing performance of the the Black Stars, at the recently concluded AFCON 2023 tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.

Scores of influential journalists including Saddick Adams, Nana Yaw Kesse, Veronica Commey and others are expected to join the march to demand accountability from GFA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The protest will commence at the Obra Spot, with participants marching through the main streets of Accra and concluding at the Independence Square.

At this final destination, a petition will be presented to representatives from the GFA, the Sports Ministry, Parliament, and the Office of the President, outlining the demands for reform in Ghanaian football.
