Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV has rewarded the playing body of the Phobians after winning double in the just ended season.
Kumasi-based Pure FM sports host, Bright Kankam Boadu reports that the entire playing body, technical team and management members of the club have received huge reward from Togbe.
According to the report, the reward were received based on each players’ performance and input during the season. Players who contributed much to the team received $5,000 each and dropped to a minimum of $3,000.

Togbe Afede on August 9 promised to reward the players and technical team for the historic double when they called on him at his residence to present the trophies they won in the 2020/21 season.
Togbe Afede at the ceremony thanked the Technical Team and the players for accomplishing the most difficult task for the season, hitting the target set up by management of the club this year, that is winning the league and the FA Cup.
Togbe Agree noted that the board set four targets for this year. Building a training complex, building modern secretariat, building Hearts commercial center and winning the league. He said among the four, winning the league was the most difficult task, but they have delivered.
He went on to remind the players of how they were rewarded after beating Kotoko and Legon Cities without making noise about it.
In similar fashion, they will be rewarded for winning the league and the FA Cup. He assured them, that by the end of this week they will smile to the bank for their rewards.
