Ghanaian disc jockey and radio presenter Andrew Amoh who is known to showbiz as Andy Dosty has confessed to having a crush on AJ Sarpong of Citi TV as she marks 30 today.

Andy Dosty, host of the DaybreakHitz on Hitz FM on Thursday, October 28, 2021, in his briefing of the show, confirmed that the female television host has always been his long-time crush and he always gets sad when he remembers she isn’t his wife.

“AJ Sarpong hmmm; she was the lady I wanted to marry. But it’s not too late...she was in school back then,“ he said.

When asked by colleagues on the programme what's stopping him from approaching her, he replied that it’s not too late.

He further explained that at the time he was ready for marriage, the lady was still in school so he had to let her concentrate on her studies.

De Don a panel on the morning showbiz review segment encouraged him to try his luck again because it’s not too late for him.

Andy is a presenter with Multimedia Group Limited. In 2017, he took over as the host of Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM. He is a recipient of the 2019 National Communications Awards Radio Personality of the Year. 

In 2019, Andy released a song, featuring Kuami Eugene, titled "Love You Die". Later that year, he sparked controversy with Ghanaian Dance Hall Musician, Shatta Wale.

Dosty sought public opinion on a statement made by Wale on social media. Dosty later took credit for helping to make Wale a successful artist in Ghana. This angered fans of Wale who disagreed with Dosty, saying he twisted the facts.
