Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall artiste Emmanuel Andrews, popularly known as Samini has claimed controversial Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale became famous in the Showbiz industry through him.

He said the incessant grumble between the two is what has projected the ‘Dancehall king” hit maker over the years.
According to him, the self-acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale isn’t his friend.

Speaking on Kumasi based Abusua FM Samini said “Shatta Wale has never been my friend since day one. I don’t call him and he doesn’t call me too.”

Asked why Shatta Wale had always wanted to have a beef with him Samini replied “You see we have several Dancehall artiste in the system and if someone wants to become popular the person tries to engage you in a beef just to be in the news and that is exactly what Shatta is doing. I made him popular and he knows it.”

He, however, did not rule out the possibility of recording with Shatta Wale in future.
