Ghanaian Afro-Pop and Afrobeat singer Wendy Addo better known as Wendy Shay has disclosed that she decided to become a nurse after she lost her daddy to a very weird sickness.Â
Wendy Shay responding to why she studied nursing told the host of 'Drive Time' on JoyFm Lexis Bill that because she wanted to know the kind of sickness that killed his father so she decided to study nursing.
"I wanted to be a nurse because of my dad because I lost my dad to a very weird sickness and my mum didn't know what that is so because I wanted to know what killed him, I wanted to study that," Wendy said.Wendy Shay also disclosed how she formed a bond with a 70-year-old man whom she took care off and that aided her to learn how to separate work from a relationship.
"This man whom I took care of before he died when I was in school I was working in a ward called 'Palliative' its a place we put people that they about to die"
"So I use to work there and I had this man who really liked me and I liked him too because I developed some love for him and took him to be like my grandpa, so I really learned to separate work from a relationship," Wendy told Lexis Bill. Â
