The Eastern North Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects, Yaw Ntoso and Perpetual Ayitey, for possessing narcotic drugs at Amankwakrom along the Agordeke–Donkorkrom road on November 13, 2025.
According to police, a snap check team intercepted a Kia Bongo truck driven by Ntoso. During a search, officers discovered three white sacks containing 135 compressed slabs of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa, wrapped in yellow cellotape. They also retrieved 21 oval-shaped parcels of similar substances.
The suspects are currently in police custody assisting with investigations and will be arraigned before court.
