The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has claimed that National Democratic Congress (NDC) general secretary, Asiedu Nketia, owes him $200.

He said when they were both in Parliament, Mr Nketia begged him for the money to be used to pay his electricity bills but has failed to repay it since, according to a report by starrfmonline.com.

“God, why have you punished us like that? I mean, in this country we listen to Asiedu Nketia, a man who could not even pay his electricity bills. He owes me two hundred dollars. Up to now he hasn’t paid.  don’t know if he’s going to pay me tomorrow,” he said at an NPP rally in Bawku in the Upper East region.

Mr Agyapong also mocked Mr Nketia for wearing a women’s suit on an official trip to Germany.

“Politics is cheap in this country. If not, what was a villager doing in Germany in his wife’s winter coat,” he said.

Meanwhile, hiplife singer, Mzbel, has held a concert at the Bukom Square Park in Accra to garner support for President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the December elections.
