The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has launched an online petition to collect signatures from voters so their presidential aspirant Dr. Kwesi Ndoum gets reinstated to contest the December 7 elections.

Executive Secretary of the party, Richard Armah Nkunim says they hope to harvest 1m votes by close of the week but they’ve secured 744 signatures.

Despite the PPP suing the Electoral Commission over the disqualification of Dr. Ndoum, the Executive Secretary stated several action is open to the party in addressing its concerns and the petition is one such action while the lawyers pursue the law bit at the High Court.

According to Mr. Nkunim, some eligible Ghanaians called on the party to initiate an online petition as they desire to see Dr. Ndoum on the ballot as he holds the key to the country’s economic liberation.

He informed, the regional constituencies of the party have also opened books to collect the signatures.
