The NDC wing of Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom have released a statement saying that SUNDA Group and Everpure Ghana Limited can't be part of NPPs One-district, One-factory.

In a statement signed by Edward Mortey aka General who is the Deputy Communications Officer, they explained that SUNDA Group is a Chinese company that has been in existence since 2000 and its subsidiaries like SUNDA (GH) Real Estate was established in 2011.

The President in his three days Greater Accra Regional tour named the SUNDA Group and EverPure Ghana Ltd as part of his government's 1d1F project.

The group, however, expressed shock as to why a project that has existed for over 7 years can be branded and listed among new governments project.

The diaper warehouse factory is produced by HomePro GH a subsidiary of the Sunda Group.

They also noticed with displeasure that EverPure Ghana Limited which was established in 2008 was also included in the government's list of 1DIF. The NPP prior to the 2016 elections promised to build a factory in every district and 2 years in office, not a single project has commenced.

Mr Edward Mortey also argued that, "even if the government of Ghana is making efforts to support distressed factories, those monies have not gone yet, and moreover Sunda Group and EverPure can't be distressed companies, per their search only two companies the motor assemblying plant in tamale and the Asokwa Bolt and Nut company has been inaugurated," and even that I can assure you not more than 300 people can be employed.

My advice is that "if you have to support distressed companies support locally owned/indigenes".

The Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia recently said 79 projects will be rolled out before the year ends. Many Ghanaians have expressed disappointment in the Akufo-Addo led government for not honouring their promise.

The government will only commission a new warehouse for HomePro but have made it look like a new factory is been built for SUNDA.

RE: PRESIDENT AKUFFO ADDO’S GREATER ACCRA TOUR;

SUNDA GROUP AND EVERPRURE GHANA LTD CANT BE IDIF -A BORTIANOR NGLESHIIE AMANFROM PERSPECTIVE

Greetings from the people of Bortainor Ngeshie Amanfrom, one of the fastest growing constituencies that saw unprecedented growth and development in the erstwhile NDC -John Dramani Mahama administration.
The National Democratic Congress branch, Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom Communications Directorate has taken notice of the Information Ministry's statement on the above subject informing the good people of Ghana of a working tour of the Greater Accra Region by HE President Akuffo Addo.
In the said statement Government pathetically list (10)major projects the President will be visiting during his tour, most of which have become abundantly clear by now that are projects of the erstwhile NDC-Mahama administration. We observe with regret that this dishonest strategy of creating fanfare and political capital from another regime’s projects has been extended to the Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom Constituency Two ALREADY MADE " projects-
SUNDA GROUP AND EVER PURE GH LTD all in the Constituency has been listed as part of the super incompetent NPP government's flagship program under the now struggling " 1DISTRICT 1FACTORY"
The following are the facts

SUNDA International Group is a Chinese company established in 2000.  It is one of the international enterprises which has since traded on the overseas market; Africa and South America etc. with industrial, manufacturing, international trade, investment, consultation service and information technology service as their merchandise.

It has set up subsidiaries in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Cote D'ivore, Senegal, Zambia, Nigeria, Peru and SouthAfrica.

In Ghana, it has subsidiaries like SUNDA (GH) Real Estate, established in 2011 and the developer of Fortune City Estate with Diamond Villa being the first phase. These properties are uniquely located along the Mallam -Kasoa highway and behind the Westhills Mall and situated at Dunkonah. It is absolutely shocking how a project that has been commenced since 2011 been named and branded like it is a new government initiative.

HomePro GH LTD is a subsidiary of this same group and was established in 2016 to produces toiletries and detergents. The popular brand of their detergents is Kleesoft. Yes, the Kleesoft you know,
And not forgetting the diapers which is produced by the same subsidiary.
What is happening with these rebranded projects for political glory in Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom is only a symptom of a national situation.

For a larger context perhaps it will be appropriate to paint the true picture of the situation of strategic project thievery that is going on with the 1D1F.
A few scenarios

Twyford GH factory project launched it construction and operations in September 2016. It produces tiles on a large scale for local consumption.
It was the second cooperation project between KEDA and the SUNDA Group
It is located behind Ghana Gas station, Lower Inchaban Shama District This has also been captured as an intervention under the failed 1D1F initiative.

EverPure GH LTD is a limited liability company established in 2008 with the objective of producing quality drinking water in sachets and bottle with the use of modern technology under strict hygienic conditions. It is located in Tema  Community 9, light industrial area in the Greater Accra region, and expanding into the long run opened a site in a community called  Tomefa.
If we care to know the EverPure factory is owned by one Mr Peter Narh Dagbatey and was established on the 25th of November 2013, he is single-handedly secured funds from local banks to establish the factory and all he needed was for Government to construct a road leading to the factory.
Government is including this on its list of 1D1F initiative perhaps because they may be given them a stimulus package which was not what was promised in 2016.
And now the good people of Ghana deserve to know, as a state what's the percentage of investment/shares government has in these industries, we should know/be made public the kind of agreements government of Ghana has with Sunday International, we also  deserve to know who exactly represents the government of Ghana in those agreements.

Finally what baffles the mind is that this year, President Nana Addo and his appointees travelled all the way to Central region ,Ekumfi to be precise, reported by Joy News- on the 22/03/2018 commissioned  a Pineapple farm as supposedly under "1D1F" till date not even a piece of block has been laid in Ekumfi Also on the August 14, 2018 news reported by Daniel Kenu ,Graphic -President inaugurates first company under "1D1F" which is the Asokwa Bolts and Nuts factory, seriously is it the first company under the program, the worst part is that after local banks have injected funds it is looking at increasing employment from 65-120 in fact the views are contradicting .

His own appointee Mr John Kumah of Youth Enterprise Support made publicly on Metro TV  that 19 of the factories have been commissioned and have started operations and it is producing, and I defer to ask what at all is those factory producing and where are they we want to know?
We know you President Akuffo Addo for plagiarizing/ taking credit for projects you haven't executed, you have always been dishonest to Ghanaians, borrowed over Ghc 40 billion and can't even show any capital project for it
Don't add more to the already deplorable situation you have putten Ghanaians in, a high cost of living, prices of good and services on the high side, fuel has been increased over 14 times, unprecedented high unemployment, coupled with the rising import duties and the crawling Ghana cedi.
Let's we forget, Our $1 million one constituency has not arrived, now its $2million 1 constituency,
CETAG is still on strike, All colleges of education are closed and some road networks in the deplorable state.
I want to use this opportunity to make a clarion call on the Religious bodies and leaders, civil society groups/organizations to rise to this sad situation we find ourselves as a country
God bless our homeland Ghana, and make Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom great and strong.
Thank you
