Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah put in an impressive shift for his side Empoli as they beat Cagliari 2-0 in an Italian Serie A opener.
Acquah who only had one training session with his new side was ever impressive as his energetic performance aided his side to win 2-0.
The 26-year old midfielder made his Serie A experience count as he calmly bossed the midfield.
Two goals from Rade Krunic and Francesco Caputo sealed the win.
The combative player after the game Tweeted his excitement after he helped his side to a first Serie A win in the current campaign.
