The Black Queens have arrived in the country after their pre-2018 AWCON friendlies with Zambia and Kenya respectively.

The Queens returned to the country on friday after their friendly matches against the She-polopolo of Zambia and the Harambee Starlets of Kenya where they lost and drew respectively.

They were met by Naa Odofoley Nortey, who is a member of the FIFA/government of Ghana Normalisation Committee, before setting off to the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel where they will be staying during their campaign in the Total Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Black Queens will square off with the Banyana Banyana of South Africa, which happens to be their final friendly match, on Sunday at 5 pm.

Ghana will lock horns with Algeria in the opening match of the competition on Saturday, November 17 at the Accra Stadium
