Nkana FC Chairman, Evaristo Kabila has reiterated his side's to face Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Nkana FC will host the Ghanaian giants on Sunday, February 24, at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe for match-day three in the 2018-19 Total CAF Confederation Cup Group C encounter

The Kitwe-based club defeated Al Hilal 2-1 on Wednesday, February 13 to make amends for their 2-0 defeat to Zesco United in their opening fixture played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Kitwe.

Nkana also lost 2-0 to Power Dynamos in a league match on Sunday and according to Kabila that has toughen them to face the Porcupine Warriors head on.

''Our league is active, so we are ready any day. We are not ready for Kotoko only but the rest of the teams in our group as well as the league,” Kabila said during an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM.

ZESCO will host Al Hilal in the other Group C match at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on the same day.

The four clubs are tied on three points each making it an open group with a winner on Sunday taking huge leap to the top.

Asante Kotoko landed in Zambia few hours ago in high spirit ahead of the crucial game to be played on Sunday, February 24 at 1PM local time.
