Spokesperson for Zambia Football Association, Mwazipeza Chanda believes local side Nkana FC will accumulate the maximum points when they lock horns with Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

Nkana FC will host the Ghanaian giants on Sunday, February 24, at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe for match-day three in the 2018-19 Total CAF Confederation Cup Group C encounter.

Asante Kotoko last Wednesday defeated another Zambian outfit Zesco United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium and the Communications Director believes the Kitwe-based side are better than their Ndola-based opponents the Porcupines Warriors defeated.

Chanda, in an interview with Kumasi-based Ashh FM, says Nkana will count on their home invisibility to defeat the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday.

"Nkana FC play very well at home so we are looking forward to maximizing our points in our home games"

"Nkana FC is ahead of Zesco United and with the kind of supporters they have at home, they can beat Kotoko on Sunday"

"It's rather unfortunate that two clubs from Zambia are in the same group of the CAF Confederation Cup but I know they will make the Country proud"

"It is a crucial game but we are hoping to get the 3 maximum points at home on Sunday against Kotoko because Nkana FC have a very good record in their home games"

"The game is very important because Nkana FC will redeem the lost glories of Zesco United so we are going into the game with all the seriousness it deserves"

"Nkana FC is ahead of Zesco United in terms of squad and technical abilities...they are better than Zesco United, so the game will be very tough for Kotoko"

"Kotoko is not a threat to Nkana FC because the whole Nation(Zambia) is ready for Kotoko on Sunday and every technical support from the Zambian FA has been given to Nkana FC team ahead of the Kotoko game on Sunday"

"We will give Kotoko a nice reception but we will also score them to claim all the 3points"

"I'm very confident that Nkana FC will qualify to the quarter-finals in the CAF Confederation Cup"

Asante Kotoko will leave the shores of Ghana on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, to Zambia, Kitwe.
