Russia 2018:Anthony Baffoe congratulates France

Former Ghana international Anthony Baffoe has commended the France National Team for winning the Russia 2018 World Cup.

He also praised the host nation Russia, FIFA, volunteers, and stewards at the just-ended World Cup.

Anthony Baffoe was one of the match coordinators for the FIFA World Cup in Russia.

France were crowned yesterday 15, June 2018 as Russia 2018 World Cup champions after the Les Bleus defeated Croatia 4-2 at the Luzhniki Stadium in Russia.

This is the second time the Les Bleus have won the World in their history. The first triumph was two decades back in 1998 where France defeated Brazil by 3-0 to lift the trophy.

 Anthony Baffoe lauded the Les Bleus, Russia for a wonderful tournament, FIFA for a brilliant organization, volunteers for viewing as well as stewards.

The former Ghanaian international is expected to play another key organizational role in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
