The three months old baby, who was being carried by the 36-year-old customer of the Midland Savings and Loans, Patience Osafo, who was brutalized by a police officer on duty at the banking hall is sick, according to the victim.

Madam Patience Osafo said during the beatings, the 3-months baby also had her share of it, leading to the change in temperature conditions after the beatings.

Narrating her ordeal on Accra based UTV on Friday later in the evening which was monitored by PrimeNewsGhana, Patience Osafo explained that while the beatings were going on, a man came to take away the baby from her instead of preventing the police from beating her and in the process; some of the blows hit the baby which compelled her to cry.

She said due to the struggling with the police and the man who forcibly took away the baby from her during the beatings, the child’s conditions have changed.

She said moment after the beatings the baby started behaving in a ‘funny way’ which has created suspicions that the baby was sick due to blows she endured.

Asked whether she was able to take the baby to the hospital, Madam Osafo said she did not have money so she could not take the child to the hospital.
