NDC race: Goosie Tanoh joins flagbearer race as he picks form on deadline day

Goosie Tanoh has picked his form to vie for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer on deadline day.


The form was picked on his behalf by a representative, Mr Eric William, on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

A deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Peter Otukonor presented the form to Mr William.

Mr Eric William told journalists that: “we want to thank our party the NDC for giving us this opportunity. The game has really started and it tells you that we are really in the race and we are serious about it and we believe that on the day of the election, things are going to favour us, and we are asking all of you to support us.”

The date for the primaries has been shifted from the initial December 19, 2018 to January 26, 2019.

Goosie Tanoh who made a return to the NDC after he broke away to form the Reform party in year 2000 said he is better placed to lead the NDC to victory in 2020.
