National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer hopeful Alban Bagbin says he has no knowledge of the group that picked up nomination forms on his behalf at the party's office today.

Bagbin who is one of the nine aspirants looking to lead the NDC in the 2020 presidential election has denied having knowledge of the group that picked up a nomination form on his behalf.

This comes as a surprise to many as Bagbin vowed to exit the race if the party does not review it GHȼ400,000 filing fee.

Bagbin is of the view that the GHȼ400,000 filing fee and GHȼ20,000 cost of nomination form meant that only the elite within the NDC could lead it.

"I have no knowledge of those who picked the form on my behalf, I was not consulted before such an action was taken"

" I have the name of the leader of the group, I know him from my constituency but I have not seen him in a while" He spoke in an interview on Joy News night.

Meanwhile, when asked what his next action would be, whether he would ask the party to expunge his name from the list of aspirants who picked the nomination forms, Bagbin said, there's nothing to be done...when already the process for fixing the nomination fees constitute an illegality.

He, however, promised to get to the root of the issue, since he has no hand in the action of the group.

The picking of nomination form closed at 5 pm today [Tuesday, December 4] and three more presidential aspirants, Sylvester Mensah, Stephen Atubiga and Joshua Alabi all picked up their forms.
