Roni Nicole Challenges Ursula Owusu In Delayed Ablekuma West NPP Primary

Voting is currently underway in the Ablekuma West Constituency as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) seek to elect a parliamentary candidate for the November 7 general elections.

 

The NPP held a countrywide parliamentary primaries in June, 2015 but had to postpone that of Ablekuma West  following disagreements over the constituency’s voters’ register.

Incumbent Member of Parliament, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful is being challenged Roni Nicole.

The constituency chairman, Theophilus Tetteh who was also running in the primary stepped down on Friday after disagreements with the party's National Executive Council.
