Ghanaian striker, Jordan Ayew is close to signing a deal with Swansea City from championship side, Aston Villa as transfer deadline ends tonight.

Swansea are close to completing a deal for Aston Villa's Jordan Ayew that would see Neil Taylor move to the Championship club in a part-exchange transfer.

Jordan would be playing for his brother, Andre Ayew’s former club Swansea and the two would reunite in the Premier League as they did when Aston Villa was in the premiership.

Jordan and Andre met last season in the premiership when Aston Villa met with Swansea with both scoring for each side.

Villa would also receive a significant sum of money, believed to be around £5million, for the Ghana forward but the deal is yet to be completed due to Ayew’s involvement at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Ayew scored in Ghana’s victory over DR Congo on Sunday night to take his country into the semi-finals against Cameroon on Thursday.
