Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan says is always special if his side beat their bitter rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

The Porcupine Warriors did a double over Hearts in a two-legged friendly dubbed the Super 2 clash.

Kotoko beat Hearts 2-0 in both encounters making it 4-0 on aggregate that allowed them to win the Super 2 clash.

The young goalie says they attach equal importance to every game they play but the joy in snatching victory against Hearts of Oak is always “special”.

“Hearts and Kotoko games are special games,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“Moreover, for the fans, it is more than three points,” he continued.

“For us as a team, we go into every game approaching it the same way but when you win against Hearts of Oak, it is special because of the fans.”

Hearts of Oak's last victory against Kotoko came in a league game this season and the Phobians will hope to regain their form soon so they match Kotoko boot for boot.
