2,171 persons benefit from 'Aquaculture for Food and Jobs' initiative

The Deputy Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Mr Abdul-Aziz Musah Ayaba, has disclosed that the Aquaculture for Food and Jobs (AFJ) initiative has successfully trained 2,171 small to medium-scale fish farmers and young individuals in advanced aquaculture production techniques.

NHIA offers free dialysis for persons below 18 and above 60

Persons suffering from kidney diseases, aged below 18 and those above 60 years will receive all eight dialysis sessions per month for free under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) effective June 1, 2024 to Decem­ber 2024, the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has announced.
