Ghana beat India 4-0 to progress to the next round of U17 World Cup

The Black Starlets of Ghana have progressed to next round of the U17 World Cup after convincingly beating India 4-0 in their last Group game.

The Starlets needed to win heavily and did exactly that when Captain Eric Ayiah opened the scoring in the 43rd minutes of the game.

Ghana went into the break a goal up.

The second half started with Ghana dominating proceedings and Ayiah adding to the tally to make it 2-0 in the 52nd minute.

It was a one sided game throughout the encounter and Mohammed Kudus and Emmanuel Toku sealed the victory in the dying embers of the game

Ghana have progressed as group winners and are tied on points with the USA but have a greater goal difference.
