Following international credit rating agency, Moody's painting of a positive outlook of the Ghanaian economy, Finance Minister, Seth Terkper believes it’s only a matter of time before other agencies reassess the standing of Ghana on their log.
Moody's has regraded the Ghanaian economy from B3- to B3 indicating a shift from negative to stable. The agency since 2015 had rated Ghana at a B3- negative outlook till now.
Mr. Terkper attributed the regrading to the performance of the economy, fiscal debt reduction and the reforms deployed to stabilize the cedi as well as the Euro bond issuance and subscription.

He held that it was time other rating agencies including Standard & Poor's and the Fitch Group regrade the country’s credit rating to reflect its positive look.
