Akufo-Addo appoints new GEPA boss

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has named former Member of Parliament (MP) for Lower West Akyem, Gifty Klenam as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).

A product of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), with specialisation in management, she takes over from Mr James Zugah Tiigah, who led the organisation under the previous administration.

According to a statement from GEPA, Ms Klenam is  a former CEO of Sunharvest Company Limited in Accra and brings with her a wealth of experience as an entrepreneur and exporter of over 20 years. She served eight years as a member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Trade, Industry and Tourism.

She will have Messrs Eric Amoako Twum and Akilu Sayibu, as deputy CEOs.
