Delta ranks No. 3 on 2025 PEOPLE Companies that Care List

Delta Air Lines was recognized by PEOPLE magazine as No. 3 on the 2025 PEOPLE Companies That Care List.

Earning a spot means that Delta has surpassed rigorous benchmarks, establishing itself as one of the best companies to work for in the country, with people who regularly go above and beyond for each other, for customers, for communities and the planet.

The highly competitive PEOPLE Companies that Care list is based on over 1.3 million employee survey responses and data from companies representing the experience of more than 8.4 million employees.

Of those surveys, more than 1 million responses came from employees at companies eligible for this year’s list, and these rankings are based on that feedback.

“Delta people demonstrate a deep level of care in everything they do – it’s the Delta Difference,” said Allison Ausband, Delta’s Chief People Officer. “I am inspired by the actions of the more than 100,000 people who make Delta, the Delta experience and the world a better place.”

A few of the many ways Delta goes above and beyond:

  • The Delta Care Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit led, managed and funded by Delta employees, provides financial grants to Delta people when they face an unexpected personal crisis. More than $6.6 million in grants were paid in 2024.
  • Delta’s emergency savings program has helped 49,000 employees start earning $1,000 after completing a financial education course, as well as access individual financial coaching to help employees decrease debt and improve their credit score.
  • $18 million was raised in 2024 by Delta employees and customers to support seven longtime nonprofit partners.
  • In 2024, Delta people volunteered 124,000 hours giving back to communities participating in activities such as building homes with Habitat for Humanity, building KABOOM! playgrounds, planting trees, packing meal kits and beach cleanups, to name a few.
  • Employees, retirees and customers contributing a record 15,585 units of blood to the American Red Cross, making Delta the No. 1 U.S. corporate blood drive sponsor for eight years in a row.  
  • Through Delta’s Carbon Council, GreenUp business resource group (BRG), and sustainable flight efforts and other initiatives, Delta people are committed to minimizing the company’s environmental impact every day and helping Delta reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
