Do not let elections destroy our peaceful business atmosphere- CIMG Boss

President of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana(CIMG), Mr. Kojo Mattah has urged Ghanaians to desist from all forms of violence that will affect the peaceful atmosphere currently enjoyed in the country.

Speaking at the ongoing CIMG awards at the Banquet Hall of the Statehouse, he said the outfit is committed to ensuring that business continues to flourish in the country fueled by a peaceful atmosphere.

"Let us not take for granted the peace we currently enjoy in the country but rather continue to ensure tolerance and peaceful coexistence,"he stated.

He added that "nobody can do business in an atmosphere of chaos and its important that we shift away from issues that have the tendencies of initiating violence."

Ghana he said can boost of sound marketing practices that would replace propaganda and promote peace through advocacy programs.

According to Mr. Mattah, it is only when the country is  able to guarantee peace that, the right platform to do business and survive.

The theme for this year's event, "Democracy and National Cohesion: Marketing A New Political Paradigm,"he said was carefully selected to drum home the need to ensure peace in the country.
