The Ghana Stock Exchange – GSE, has lifted the ban on two of five companies suspended from the domestic stocks market.
The GSE management said their decision was on the basis that both firms had rectified the issues surrounding their suspension by the regulatory body.
The two companies restored are Clydestone (Ghana) Limited and Transaction Solutions (Ghana).
In a statement to the media announcing the lifting of the suspension on both companies, the GSE stated that,†Accordingly, the Exchange has lifted the suspension in trading of the shares of CLYD and TRANSOL that was imposed on the two companies with immediate effectâ€.
The other three companies which; African Champion Industry Limited (ACI), Pioneer Kitchenware Limited and Golden Web Limited, will remain suspended until further development on the issue.
The GSE suspended all five companies on the basis of their sustained default in meeting requirements for their continued listing on the domestic stocks market as stipulated by the regulatory body.
