The Minister of Communication, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, on Wednesday, visited the offices of Ghana's leading telecommunications network, MTN.
Mrs Owusu-Ekuful's visit was to familiarise with the operations of MTN Ghana
Taking the minister on the tour, the CEO of MTN Ghana, Ebenezer Asante and his team gave her an overview of the company's structure, operations, performance, challenges and goals.
The team also espoused the comapny's contributions to national development among which included the use of MTN’s Mobile Money service to promote financial inclusion and MTN Ghana Foundation’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of Ghanaian communities in the areas of health, education and economics.
The Minister on her part commended MTN for its achievements in Ghana so far.
