The first 'Black Panther' film was such a hit that calls for a second instalment were almost instant, and three years later we have been told what the name of the second film will be, although there is still a while to go before it hits theatres.
Sadly the death of Chadwick Boseman, the star of the first 'Black Panther' film, in August 2020 means that the second edition will have a different feel to it, but fans are excited nonetheless.
What will the second 'Black Panther' film be called?
The official title of the second film has been announced: 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'. For those of you that have watched the first film, you will remember the 'Wakanda Forever' battle cry made famous by Boseman's character, T'Challa.
When will 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' be released?
While many expected the release date of the film to be years away, fans of 'Black Panther' will have to wait less than a year to watch the second edition, with 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' set to be shown in theatres from July 8, 2022.

Will Chadwick Boseman appear in the film?
Disney, the parent company of Marvel, have used CGI to bring the likes of deceased actors Peter Cushing and Carrie Fisher back to life in the 'Star Wars' series, but Marvel have no plans to do this with Chadwick Boseman.
"We're not going to have a CG [computer generated] Chadwick and we're not recasting T'Challa," Marvel head Kevin Feige told Deadline.
The cast for 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'
A large portion of the original cast are set to return for this second film, and this includes Letitia Wright (T'Challa's sister, Shuri), Lupita Nyong'o (Nakia), Angela Bassett (T'Challa's mother, Ramonda), Martin Freeman (Everett K. Ross), Winston Duke (M'Baku) and Danai Gurira (Okoye).
Meanwhile, recent Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya (W'Kabi) and Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger) are both yet to confirm whether they will appear in the film or not. Of the two, Kaluuya has sounded the most positive.
