Insider information emanating from Angel Broadcasting Services (Angel 96.1 FM) indicates that celebrated broadcaster and morning show host of Kumasi-based Abusua FM, Kwame Adinkra is set to make a swift return to Pure FM, a member of Angel Group of Companies barely a year after joining EIB Network’s Abusua FM.

A source says a deal has been reached, paving way for the man many call “Apotitimati” to rejoin the Kumasi based station.

A deep throat source close to our outfit indicates that the celebrated broadcaster is expected to start work with Pure 95.7 Fm on Thursday, June 1.

This is what most radio listeners in the Garden City will refer to as “The second coming of Kwame Adinkrah to the Angel family”.

For years Kumasi’s biggest voice on Morning Radio, Kwame Adinkra was the face of radio and entertainment in the Garden city.

His personality appeal cuts across gender and age. Since 2004, he has won every radio award in the region and voted the Favorite Radio Personality in Ashanti in 2005.

He won the RTP Morning Show Host of the year 2015. He is pursuing Mphil in Communication Design at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Kwame Adinkra is married to Obaaku Amponsah, a circuit court judge.Â
