After an eight year ban from the United States, reggae entertainer Sizzla is finally back on US soil for a 3 month long 876 US Tour.

Sizzla who has always come under heavy fire from gay rights groups will now have one of his upcoming shows relocated with venue owners and promoters in the California Bay Area coming under pressure from LGBTQ group Humboldt.

The group who shared that they were surprised Sizzla’s US visa and work permit were reinstated, stated that they will continue to educate venue owners and promoters about what they have classified as ‘murder music.’ And have launched a campaign calling out Sizzla’s homophobic lyrics.

Sizzla’s September 23 date which was set for the 1015 Folsom night club in San Francisco California has been cancelled by the clubs owner. Promoters have since redirected Sizzla’s fans to Venue Oakland a multi-level entertainment facility in Oakland California. Re assuring fans that all tickets will still be honoured at this new venue.

Sizzla who is currently in Atlanta for a show tonight, Friday August 26,  is scheduled to perform at four more locations in California in September.
