Not one to be taken on in a duel lightly, Shatta Wale has submitted that musical group VVIP has not offered him any favours as prodigal claimed in his scathing Facebook post.

Prodigal had gotten incensed about Shatta Movement Family’s (SMF) attempt at producing a musical show which had Wale as the main act not too far from the stand VVIP erected at Nima to round up the Ramadan period or #Sellahfest and in a Facebook post decried Shatta for forgetting all the good the group had rendered him.

But appearing on the Delay Show, the ‘Kakai’ singjay scoffed at claims VVIP has been generous to him stressing he’s not received any support from the three member team regarding his music career.

"VVIP has never helped me in any way, I have never benefited from them so far as my music is concerned. The truth is I mounted their stage a few times but it was because my song was popular and they had no choice. My song had made rounds and people loved it so they put me on” Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr concluded.
