Highlife legend, Albert Apoozore, known popularly as King Ayisoba, has stated that one of the things he looks for before collaborating with any musician is their ability to write sensible songs.

The Ghanaian traditional musician, known for his distinct style of music alongside the kologo, told Giovanni Caleb on Showbiz 360 that the majority of the songs he had done with various artists had never left Ghana.

Artists such as Samini, Kwabena Kwabena, Sydney's 'Fa Me Sika Ma Me,' and Kontihene have all collaborated with the legend, but the songs have only stayed in Ghana.

King Ayisoba stated that his hit song, "I Want to See You My Father," has crossed into the international market.

"So a hiplife artist, who doesn't make sensible songs but playful ones, I won't agree to work with them," he said.
