Highlife musician Bless whose song, Chocho Mucho, is receiving considerable airplay says he is under pressure to release more hit songs but he doesn't want to rush to do music that will fade away in no time.

Bless told Showbiz recently that he often gets messages from his fans on Facebook and Instagram asking when he is coming out with another banger.

According to him, such questions put him under pressure because he likes to take his time and do timeless songs.

“I don’t want to rush into bringing out songs that will fade away in no time. I want to release songs that will be evergreen,” he said.

For Bless, the impact 'Chocho Mucho' has made sometimes scares him, especially when it comes to new releases.

“I have a couple of good songs ready for release but I am scared as to which one I should put out because you can’t tell with Ghanaians. Songs you think are classic to you might not be their kind of songs,” he said.

Bent on setting a certain standard for himself, Bless said he does not just feature on any song. “I have turned down a couple of songs I was asked to feature on because they were not to my standard. Some of them were from the A-List artistes who felt they know it all and didn’t want me to have a say on the song.

“I only feature if the song is okay but if it’s not then I would have to do one or two retouches before I jump on it. Unless that happens I will turn down the offer no matter how big you are,” he told Showbiz.

On the way forward with his career, Bless said he is going all out in 2019. “2019 is my year and I want everyone to watch out for me. There will be more bangers in 2019 and I promise not to disappoint my fans who are pushing me to release songs more often."
