It is quite rare to hear Ghanaian musicians admitting on live radio their fondness for a colleague's song.

Even rarer is the musician admitting that he or she would have wished that a colleague's song would have been his or hers.

But popular artiste, Okyeame Kwame, today made such an admission on Citi FM's Breakfast Show.

According to Okyeame Kwame, he fell so much he felt so much in love with Kwabena Kwabena's 'Asor' track that he became he wished the track was his own.

"I was jealous when I heard Kwabena Kwabena's Asor. It was a great song", he said.

For him, "the story in Asor was on the level of Nana Ampadu".

Released in 2005, 'Asor' was Kwabena Kwabena's breakthrough song and it is regarded as one of his best ever.

Okyeame Kwame was being interviewed as part of the 2017 'Music Of Ghana Origin' Concert scheduled to come off tomorrow at the plush Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
