Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo, has criticised the Member of Parliament of Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Alhassan, for keeping silent on robbery attacks on the Legon By-pass Road.
According to Dumelo, his opponent in the 2020 elections has not been heard of since reports of attacks on the stretch of road popular called the 'GIMPA road'.
“Every day we hear stories of road users being attacked on the Gimpa road….yet the Mp of AWW has been mute and unconcerned. The robberies still persists. Or elections are over……†John Dumelo tweeted on Monday morning.
For some time now, there have numerous reports of robberies on that stretch of road.

Victims say the attackers hurl stones at their windows to get them to stop and when they do, the robbers swoop in to rob them of their belongings.
Police has so far arrested four persons suspected to be behind the attacks.
