Popular actor and sympathiser of the opposition NDC, John Dumelo today at the Vodafone Music Awards (VGMAs) 2017 promised to give the best rapper of the year a brand-new car.
John Dumelo, who presented an award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2017 after singing and reciting party songs and slogans of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) and opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) said:
“I promise to give the best rapper of the year a 2017 model v8 carâ€
Meanwhile, John Dumelo's name has been trending on social media few weeks elapse for allegedly owning two vehicles belonging to the state.
Per reports, John Dumelo sent one of the alleged stolen state vehicles to the auto mechanic to change it to his preferred colour.
According to primenewsghana’s source close to the NPP task force in charge of retrieving the missing state vehicles:
John Dumelo had two state V8s in his possession, he sent one of the cars which was quite new to a spraying shop to spray it, being a relatively new car which needed not to be sprayed, one of the workers at the sprayer's shop gave a tip off to the task force.
