Ghanaian dancehall and Afrobeats star Kelvyn Boy has a frightening near-death experience after narrowly escaping what he describes as a potentially tragic accident.

In a post on social media, the singer revealed that he was almost hit by a reversing vehicle at the sidewalk behind Accra’s Center Point Mall. According to Kelvyn Boy, the driver lost control while reversing in his direction, but he was saved by the quick reaction of two members of his team who noticed the danger and acted immediately.

Although his life was spared, the incident left the musician with a fractured ankle.

“A few days ago, God saved me from what would have been the most tragic news all year for me and my people,” he wrote, expressing deep gratitude for life and divine protection.

Following the accident, Kelvyn Boy has been forced to miss several scheduled performances. He issued an apology to promoters and fans affected by the cancellations, asking event organizers to coordinate with his management team to reschedule new dates.

Despite the injury, the artiste remains determined to fulfill upcoming end-of-year commitments.

“I’m racing against time, I’ll be there (with crutches if need be) to rave. Nothing’s gon stop us now!” he assured fans.

Kelvyn Boy ended his message with a reminder on the importance of gratitude and safety, urging everyone to always be thankful for life.
