The final funeral rites of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu has been held at the Heroes Park in Kumasi, despite earlier uncertainties surrounding the event.
The late legendary highlife musician, who was known widely as Daddy Lumba, was laid to rest on Saturday, December 11, 2025.
The funeral drew thousands of fans, who arrived early to pay tribute to the celebrated musician.
Many attendees wore traditional funeral cloth in muted colors, while some donned accessories bearing the legend’s iconic image.
High-profile politicians, chiefs, celebrities, and business moguls attended the Lumba's funeral.
Among the attendees were the NDC National Chairman Aseidu Nketiah, Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Regional NDC Chairman Augustus Andrews Nana Kwasi, and other party officials.
Also spotted were Musician Nana Acheampong, renowned businessmen Osei Kwame Despite and Akwasi Sarpong.
